If you're looking for an appliance that can work discreetly without disturbing the tranquillity of your home, just look out for the Quiet Mark.
In 1959 John Connell founded the Noise Abatement Society, working with the government and various industries to tackle 'excessive and unnecessary noise' in the workplace and our home environments, for a calmer, more peaceful way of living.
Responding to public complaints received by the Noise Abatement Society's 24/7 national noise helpline, Connell's granddaughter Poppy Szkiler launched Quiet Mark in 2012.
Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. This International Eco-Award Scheme for excellence in quiet product design is awarded to worldwide manufacturers of the quietest products in conjunction with acousticians from the Association of Noise Consultants and Institute of Acoustics.
Not only has our Fearne by Swan Quiet Boil Kettle been awarded the Quiet Mark, we also have other award winning products you might be interested in. Check out the other awards we’ve picked up for our Swan ranges
