- 1 bunch fresh cavolo nero
- 1 whole orange, peeled and cut into slices
- ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
STEP 1
Prepare the cavolo nero by removing the stalks. Strip the leaves and rinse them thoroughly.
STEP 2
Dry the leaves and cut them into thin strips.
STEP 3
Place the leaves in a large salad bowl. Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, black pepper, and salt to taste.
STEP 4
Massage the leaves using your hands gently. Place them at room temperature for about 25 to 30 minutes.
STEP 5
Add chopped walnuts, orange slices, and toss. Drizzle honey and serve.
