
- 750g sprouts, trimmed
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 8-10 rashers smoked streaky bacon
- 200g vacuum packed chestnuts, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
STEP 1
In a pan, cook the sprouts in salted, boiling water for a few minutes.
STEP 2
Once cooked, drain the boiling water and place the sprouts into iced water to cool.
STEP 3
Once fully cooled, drain for a second time and dry using kitchen paper.
STEP 4
Preheat the grill to the maximum setting and cook the bacon until it gets crispy, around 5-8 minutes.
STEP 5
Allow it to cool and then chop into small chunks.
STEP 6
Slice the sprouts in half and toss them in olive oil and season.
STEP 7
Grill this until it is cooked thoroughly.
STEP 8
Mix together the sprouts, bacon and chestnuts and enjoy!
