Cheese Burgers Recipe

15 Mins
  • 1lb Fresh Minced Beef
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 6-8 Slices of Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 egg
  • ½ Cup of Fresh Breadcrumbs
  • 6-8 Burger buns
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Grate the onion into a large mixing bowl, add the beef mince, garlic and breadcrumbs and mix thoroughly.

Create a small well in the centre of the mixture and add the egg, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly with your hands.

Take a small hand full of the mixture and form a ball, then shape the ball into a small burger and place on a plate.

Repeat this process until the mixture has been used up.

Place Burgers on the low rack and cook at 200C for approximately 10 minutes until browned. Turn the burgers using the tongs and cook for a further 5 min.

Add cheese and continue to cook until the cheese has melted.

Place the finished burger on a sliced bun, add your favorite condiments and enjoy.
