
- 1lb Fresh Minced Beef
- 1 Large Onion
- 6-8 Slices of Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 egg
- ½ Cup of Fresh Breadcrumbs
- 6-8 Burger buns
- Salt & Pepper to taste
STEP 1
Grate the onion into a large mixing bowl, add the beef mince, garlic and breadcrumbs and mix thoroughly.
STEP 2
Create a small well in the centre of the mixture and add the egg, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly with your hands.
STEP 3
Take a small hand full of the mixture and form a ball, then shape the ball into a small burger and place on a plate.
STEP 4
Repeat this process until the mixture has been used up.
STEP 5
Place Burgers on the low rack and cook at 200C for approximately 10 minutes until browned. Turn the burgers using the tongs and cook for a further 5 min.
STEP 6
Add cheese and continue to cook until the cheese has melted.
STEP 7
Place the finished burger on a sliced bun, add your favorite condiments and enjoy.
