- 12 red chillies, chopped
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 150ml apple cider vinegar
- 250ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3-4 tbsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
STEP 1
Add the chillies, onion, garlic and salt to your food processor and blitz to a paste. Our Swan Stealth Personal Blender is a great choice for this recipe – it’s not only highly functional and easy to clean, it also comes in a sleek matte black colour.
STEP 2
Heat the oil in a frying pan, then add your paste. Fry gently for around ten minutes, stirring regularly. Add a little water if it starts to stick or burn.
STEP 3
Add the tomatoes, vinegar, and apple juice and cook for another twenty minutes.
STEP 4
Using a stick blender, blend until smooth.
STEP 5
Pour into a jar or a storage container and leave to cool.
