
- 4 large skinless, boneless chicken breast fillets
- 250ml ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 125ml maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 dashes hot sauce or to taste
STEP 1
Preheat the slow cooker on low.
STEP 2
Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of a slow cooker.
STEP 3
In a bowl, stir together the ketchup, mustard, lemon juice, garlic granules, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, cayenne pepper and hot sauce until the mixture is well blended.
STEP 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken, set the cooker to Low, and cook for 6 hours.
STEP 5
Shred the chicken with two forks and cook for 30 more minutes.
STEP 6
Serve the pulled chicken as desired.
