1) What are your daily duties and responsibilities?

“So, I run five accounts and I mainly look after the day to day responsibilities while I’m in training. There’s much more responsibility on its way to me, so I’d say this answer is a work in progress!”

2) Describe your role in three words.

“Spreadsheets, teams, and coffee.”

3) What do you find the most challenging?

“The spreadsheets I’m working on at the minute require me to go into such vast depth of the products, so it means communicating with all departments of Swan to find things out. I think day to day things run quite smoothly, and time-consuming things like incident reports that come through with customer queries tend to come in waves. It’s sourcing the product information to handle the issues that takes time, but at least that way, I’m learning more about the items and how to handle future issues quicker. Knowledge is power!”

4) What do you love about the job?

“I love the people. When I was in the Customer Services team, I was like the Dad of the group- or the crazy uncle! We’d sit and have dinner together- like a little family! And that goes for the whole of Swan, really- I’ll always be the Dad at the top of the tree looking after everyone!”

5) What is your favourite Swan product?

“I haven’t got a favourite, but I do like the Stealth Blender. It’s a good kitchen must-have for morning shakes!”

6) What do you listen to on your way to work?

“My music taste is very varied. I listen to Example, KSI, and Lewis Capaldi (something a bit slower). I also love a musical, but those three artists are my main favourites. Example has around 6-7 albums, and I could easily listen to them every day on repeat. I’d say rave music on the way to work and calm slow music on the way home.”

7) What song is your guilty pleasure?

“I like Highschool Musical and The Greatest Showman, so I think it would have to be something out of either of those two. Number three is my favourite High School Musical film. Can I Have This Dance would have to be my favourite song, but I don’t feel guilty for liking it, to be fair! Musicals, in general, are my guilty pleasure.”

8) Name one thing you’re grateful for.

“Life. It’s quite deep, but I’m very grateful for life.”

9) Name one thing you want to achieve this week.

“I’ve got no other aims than to live life to the fullest. And bring joy and happiness to people- if I can make people laugh, then I’m happy.”

10) What’s the one colour you would fill your house with?

“When I lived on my own, I had some yellows, greys and blues. I love all three of those colours. I like yellow for the living room, to make it warm and welcoming. Then, blue for the kitchen, and then grey for the bedroom. My mate has a blue kitchen, it looks so good, and it’s not too dark!”

11) What’s your favourite National Day?

“Oh, it has to be Pizza Day- I like Pancake Day, but my favourite would easily have to be National Pizza Day. Forget every other National day- every day is pizza day for me! Although I do have to rota myself in for a Pizza, I often have them on a Sunday, but I have to structure it, so I don’t end up eating it every day haha!”

12) What’s your favourite weird food combo?

“So, in lockdown, I did try loads of random food combinations. Red Wine and Coca-Cola is so good! It’s an actual Spanish drink, but it’s not a food combo. I also tried Doritos on pizza- but the Doritos have to be Tangy Cheese. It’s super crunchy and so good. Also, Macdonald’s Fries dipped in a mixed Macdonald’s Milkshake, Chocolate and Banana etc. Any of those three combinations are my favourite and are all delicious!”

13) What’s your favourite film?

“Forest Gump, as it’s a classic. His journey from being a boy to becoming a man is so admirable. The way he deals with his troubles, the people who bully him and the suffering he endures is beyond powerful. And, even though he loses his love, he’s still got a massive heart there. It’s inspirational!”

14) What is your favourite meme?
