- 2 cups coffee, room temperature
- ¼ cup half and half
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
STEP 1
First of all, in a medium saucepan, pour water. Add sugar and place the saucepan over medium heat.
STEP 2
Stir using a wooden spoon until the sugar is dissolved. You don't need to boil the water. Take it off the heat once the sugar dissolves. Let it cool down completely.
STEP 3
Once the sugar syrup reaches room temperature, add vanilla extract and stir. Store this syrup in the refrigerator so that you can use it whenever you like.
STEP 4
In a serving glass, add ice cubes. Pour coffee, half and half, and the sugar syrup. Make sure you add the sugar syrup one tablespoon at a time until you get the desired sweetness. Enjoy!
