  • ½ lbs. Serrano or Cayenne chilli peppers
  • 60ml apple cider vinegar
  • 2 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt

STEP 1

Wash the red chillies and pat them dry. You can choose the chilli pepper according to your heat preference. I prefer using serrano or cayenne peppers. These are hot. Wear gloves, and cut the top of the red chilli peppers. Be careful not to touch your face or eyes. If you have sensitive eyes, you can wear glasses for added protection.

STEP 2

Cut the chilli peppers in half and keep the seeds as they are the primary source of heat. Add halved red chilli peppers, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and sugar in a food processor bowl. Process until you get a smooth paste and all the ingredients are thoroughly processed. You can also use a blender if you don't have a food processor.

STEP 3

Pour the chilli sauce into a sterilised glass jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to a month.
